It’s Winter Vacation time — when the blogosphere goes quiet, and ELTs tend to travel. I’m staying put and vacationing via professional development.
The Eleven Things Facebook chainmail thing seems to have faded, but Alex BreathyVowel tagged me a few weeks ago, and I’d been meaning to try something different (than my usual ultra-verboseness) in response as a means to reinvigorating my
blog self. Earlier this week I registered for a couple of FANTASTIC-sounding TESOL Electronic Village Online sessions (registration through this weekend, Jan. 12 – go now!!!). The pre-task for the Crafting the ePerfect eTextbook session is to produce a “3-2-1 self-introduction” using Web 2.0 tools. As a similar task is listed for the other session I registered for, MachineEVO, where I’ll learn to make videos within SecondLife, I figured I’d do the Web 2.0 thing there, with my first glog; that’s this afternoon’s project. This video mash-up was yesterday’s entertainment.
PS — Paul McCartney may make me take this down…
